As a faculty member of George Washington University School of Medicine, Dr. Borenstein and his colleagues are actively involved in clinical trials to test new medicines.
If you live in Washington, DC, Northern Virginia or Maryland and are interested in participating in a clinical trial, you should contact Dr. Borenstein to find out what trials are recruiting patients. All clinical trials are regulated and overseen by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration, in conjunction with major global biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. All clinical trial participants must meet stated test criteria and sign a consent form before beginning participation.
